Conductivity Meters for TDS Measurement

With a specific end goal to understand watering system water EC (Electrical Conductivity), we first need to understand the importance of TDS. TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids, i.e. the aggregate sum of solids broke up in water, for the most part mineral salts. TDS is measured in PPM (parts per million) or in mg/l. Since it is difficult to quantify the TDS in the field, the EC of the water works as a measure for TDS. Measuring water EC is snappy, reasonable, and can be resolved utilizing compact meters.
