Calibration and Use of a pH Meter

A pH meter is an electronic device which is used for measuring pH (acidity or alkalinity) of a liquid. It typically consists of special measuring devices which are connected to an electronic meter that measures and displays the pH reading. A pH meter measures the concentration of the hydrogen ions [H+] in a solution. An acidic solution has increased more positively charged hydrogen ions in a liquid than an alkaline or basic solution. So it has greater intensity to produce an electric current under certain different conditions. It is look like a battery that can be used to produce a greater voltage supply.
